The biggest obstacle I hear about with people trying to get paid doing surveys online is that there aren't very many sites open to international members, or often aren't surveys or offers available for international members. Well, I have come across several sites that are open to all countries--worldwide! I thought I would take a moment to share these great free, paying, online survey sites with you.

My top recommendation is SquishyCash.com. SquishyCash has literally pages of international offers! Definitely have a look around. SquishyCash also offers a huge number of paid surveys for U.S. members, the most extensive cashback shopping area I've found, paid-to-click ads, point prizes, and they'll even pay you to post in their forum! How To Get Paid Doing Surveys

I posted this how-to over on my CashCrate blog, but I thought I'd share it here too. If you haven't tried CashCrate yet, you definitely need to check it out. It has one of the best support systems online, and the approval rate for free surveys is outstanding.

This is a walk-through of EXACTLY how I, personally, complete free surveys online. I have a VERY high confirmation rate (roughly 95% of my offers approve and I get paid for them), so believe me that you need to actually do most of these steps.

At the start of every day, I create a new email address. Make sure it's short, so it's quick to type. This email MUST be a real email address. "Disposable emails" and using Gmail's "dot trick" can be detected by the advertising companies, and you won't be credited if you use them. Don't waste your time with cheats. You can use sites like Gmail, Yahoo, Mail.com, and Hotmail.

Go to your website's survey/offer list. Clear your cookies. It works best for me to delete everything on the list except the cookie for your GPT website. If you delete it, you have to log back in again every time--which wastes time.

Don't click 'Close' on your cookies window. Just minimize it to the bottom of your screen so it's easier to get to next time. (Close the 'Options' window if it's in your way).

Click on the survey/offer you want to do. Make a note of what the web address is. Each company will only credit you once per email. So if you are doing the "Day Care Survey" for e-researchcenter.us.com, you won't get credited for "Swine Flu" later because it is also hosted by e-researchcenter.us.com. Make sense? So as you're going down your list of surveys, just make sure you don't do more than one per company.

Creating a spreadsheet or checklist of the companies is handy, so you don't have to write all of the companies down as you go--just put an X next to their name. (You can have a copy of my spreadsheet, if you email me at Emma@PaidDoingSurveys.com...and beg.)

If you click on a survey/offer from the list, and it's a company you've already completed, close it. Delete your cookies again (just opening the window gave you more cookies) and move on to the next survey/offer.

During the survey, let every page load completely. This one's very important. If you don't, and hit 'skip' too soon, they'll assume you're a robot and not credit you.

Fulfill the requirements of the survey/offer. If you are supposed to complete an offer or two, do it. There are plenty of free offers to do. Simply click on one that looks interesting, fill in your information, and click submit. If the directions say to "click" on offers on the final page, click them. Simply choose a couple, click on them, let them load fully, then close the windows.

Make certain you go all the way to the end of every survey.

When you've finished, close the survey window and any pop-ups. Click the submit button on the site.

Start the whole process back over by clearing your cookies again.

After I've finished doing surveys for the day, or am just taking a break, I go to my email I've set up and check on the inbox. Several of the companies (particularly the ones that pay the most) send you confirmation emails to verify that you gave them a real email address. Click on the link in the email, let the page load completely, enter your email and a password if they ask you, then close it.

When you run out of companies, it's time to set up a new email address and start the whole process over again.

Admittedly, One of the most difficult parts of doing GPTs (for me, at least) is getting referrals. For some people, it just comes naturally. For me...not so much.

Lately, though, I've been very active on StarReferrals. It's a newish site, and part of the DealBarbie Network. It's great! The whole site is on a point system; StarReferrals calls them "stars". You can earn stars by either completing offers, signing up for people's ads, or doing PTC ads.

I love it. I wake up every morning, click on six pages of ads (takes about 10 minutes), and voila! I've got about 20 stars! Then, I go to the "Spend Stars" section and create a Paid To Signup ad for one of my many GPT sites. You can choose to offer as many of your stars per signup as you wish.

People sign up, earn stars, and I earn a new referral! It's all completely free to do. Plus (my favorite part), most of the people who are involved with StarReferrals are already active GPT users. Wow. So much has happened in May, that I completely forgot to post my next CashCrate check! It was for $21.81. It's a little lower than my first, because I got very busy completing offers and doing surveys on some other new sites I've found.

One of the sites, MakeThatDollar, has some CRAZY contests. I spent most of the month doing what I could to be eligible for contests. It was SO worth it. Read on to find out my winnings....

The first contest was a paid-to-click contest for whoever could click on the most advertisers' banner ads within a set amount of days. This one was an easy one! I like to turn on a TV show online and listen to it while I do PTC ads - something I can just listen to in the background but don't have to watch to enjoy, like a sitcom or a soap (yes, I'm admitting I watch a soap...I'm not telling which one). I won that first contest and had $5 deposited instantly into my account! That's $5 for maybe 15 total minutes of my time, PLUS the money I made by clicking on the ads. I was hooked.

The next contest was an offer completion contest over the course of a few days. Also an easy one. I won $25!!!!

There was also a month-long offer completion contest, which I TOTALLY had in the bag right up until May 29th. Then, I got a really nasty cold and spent the next few days in bed and not working online. I only got 3rd place in the contest....BUT I STILL WON $100!!!! I'm a little disappointed that I didn't win the $500 1st place prize, but I was SO sick, and I really needed to rest.

I also completed a Paid-to-signup contest for StarReferrals and had $2 deposited directly into my paypal account. I'll definitely be writing about StarReferrals later--LOVE them.

My Very First Check From Working Online!

Okay. Admittedly I was just as skeptical as you about all of this work-at-home industry hype. I thought to myself, "Seriously? I'm going to spend a little time on the internet, and some complete stranger is going to send me a check a month later?"

I knew my check from CashCrate.com was supposed to be processed on April 15th, and I'd seen everyone else's checks in the forums and in people's messages to me...but I just couldn't shake that feeling that I was going to be waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and eventually find out that I'd been duped and wasn't getting a check.
